AUDITION DATE? Friday August 22nd
TIMES?
4-4:45PM- Clara and Sugar Plum Fairy Audition
4:45-5:15PM- Party girls, Nutcracker, and soldiers
5:15-6PM- Mouse king and lead mice
WHAT IS THIS AUDITION FOR? Kids will be auditioning for lead rolls, duets, advanced group dances, and acting rolls. They will all need to know some ballet basics and/or acro basics:
CLARA: Need at least four years of ballet experience
MOUSE KING/ LEAD MICE: Need to know how to do basic tumbling skills like forward or backwards rolls and cartwheels.
NUTCRACKER/ LEAD SOLDIERS: Need at least two years of ballet experience. need to understand basic stage directions.
PARTY GIRLS: Need at least two years of ballet experience
SUGAR PLUM FAIRY: Need at least 6 years of dance experience
AGES? This audition is for ages 8 and up unless otherwise invited. However, all Park Ballet students ages three and up will be a part of the show if taking classes, no audition required.
WHO CAN AUDITION? Anyone! You do not have to be a Park Ballet member to audition nor do you have to take weekly classes, however, you will need to be able to attend most rehearsals as well as the dress rehearsal.
