AUDITION DATE? Friday September 11th, 4-6:15

TIMES?

4-4:45PM- Acro (all levels)

4:45-5:30PM- Tap (all levels)

5:30-6:15PM- Ballet (all levels)

( If your child has taken any of these styles before, we recommend auditioning for all three as there is a limited amount of lead roles and this increases their chances of getting cast)

WHAT IS THIS AUDITION FOR? Kids will be auditioning for lead rolls, duets, advanced group dances, and acting rolls. They will all need to know some Ballet, Acro, and/ or Tap basics:

PARTS:

CLARA: Ballet Solo, Duets and leader of the party girl dance

LEAD FLOWER: Ballet solo and Leader of the flowers dance

LEAD SNOW: Ballet solo and Leader of the snow flakes dance

SUGAR PLUM FAIRY: Ballet solo and Leader of the ginger children dance

THE NUTCRACKER: Ballet/ Acro Solo and Duet, and leader of the soldiers dance

MOUSE KING: Acro solo and duet, and Leader of the Mice dance

BATTLE SCENE: Acro Group dance

PARTY SCENE: Ballet Group Dance

AGES? This audition is for ages 8 and up unless otherwise invited. However, all Park Ballet students ages three and up will be part of the show if taking classes, no audition required.

WHO CAN AUDITION? Anyone! You do not have to be a Park Ballet member to audition nor do you have to take weekly classes, however, you will need to be able to attend most rehearsals as well as the dress rehearsal.
